At some of the prayer journal workshops, I’ve been asked, “I thought we were going to learn what to say.” My response has been, “I won’t teach you what to say, but I’ll help you get started.” This prayer workshop is designed to do just that. What do we say? Where does inspiration come from? Can we be truly honest with God in our circumstances?
When we study psalms or the Lord’s Prayer, what are foundational themes to it? How do we also truly engage our hearts and minds in prayer?
This is a “rough draft” workshop and I am in need of constructive feedback. The workshops have received great feedback in the past and I long to continue equipping and encouraging the body of Christ.
In this workshop, we will be building our own prayers using core doctrinal truths, examples/themes from psalms, and our responses. You will leave this hour with a deeper understanding of prayer and will be encouraged to use the discussed patterns and concepts into your own journaling time.
You do not need to bring anything. All materials will be provided. All I ask is that you are a lover of Jesus to attend.
