Come for a free family event on Tuesday, July 16 at 10 am where your child from ages 5-11 will learn 3 prayer journaling techniques: brain dumping, studying scripture, and the taste and seek prayer. In this 40 minute interactive workshop, we will learn how prayer forms a closer relationship with the God who loves us from a beloved Bible story.
Adults are required to attend to their children. All siblings are welcome, but registration is required for the participating children (a 5 year old should be registered, but not a toddler or newborn).
This prayer journaling workshop is ideal for families who want to teach their kids different ways to pray. Prayer can sometimes seem too difficult or ineffective, but it is crucial in our relationship with God. Together, families will have new ways to pray.
What to expect: some sitting, laughing, wiggling, storytelling, (maybe singing!), and most of all, learning about the love of Jesus. Please provide feedback at the end of the workshop.
The beauty of this unique event is that it is including families to come together. So, if you’re the attending adult, be ready to interact too! Younger children are absolutely welcomed, but need to be supervised. Childcare is not provided.
This is the first prayer journaling workshop for children by Taste and Seek. This workshop will also be done in Ghana to a younger audience so your attendance and feedback matter!
